Mike Morris

Mike has worked in Management Development and Assessment for over 20 years, beginning his career in HR and Training and Development within Financial Services. Mike has worked at Director Level for a number of the top Life Insurance Companies and Banks, including Standard Life, Lloyds TSB, Barclays Plc and AIG where he has been responsible for significant HR and T&D functions. Mike has specialised in the use of assessment and development centres techniques to support selection campaigns, talent management programmes, senior management development programmes and performance management processes.

Over the years Mike has developed a number of assessment and development programmes closely associated with improving business performance, managing change and customer relationship management. During this time Mike has been working to develop better techniques to gather behavioural evidence and to be able to classify and evaluate this behaviour to improve the decision making process associated with assessment and development events.

Mike's belief is if you are going to use any methods or techniques to assess an individuals potential or performance, then the process must be fair, robust, measurable and reliable and if you design learning events to support the assessment process, they must meet the objectives of the business and the individual. Mike is an Economics graduate with a further MBA and additional qualifications in CRM and Quality Management.
